I am an digital nomad, artist, and data science guy. I value sense of humor, long conversation, great food, and enjoying each moment. I lived in Taiwan studying Chinese Art and Art History and took intensive language but did not keep it up. I've never been conversational in another language and wish to achieve this goal.

I want to be able to speak Spanish, not just read and understand. I have been using DuoLingo for over two years. I have a fair vocabulary and good knowledge of the grammar, but still can't get the words out fluently. I would be happy to help others improve their English. I am a bit nervous about actually speaking Spanish, but I am motivated.
I am recently retired from software engineering. I have a Ph.D. in physics. I am a practicing Orthodox Jew. I am fond of Tolkien and Heinlein. I am an avid bike rider and interested in nutrition and fitness.
