I'm fluent in both Dutch and English, and I'm learning Japanese (still a beginner) and I also recently started learning Korean which I'm really enjoying it so far, would love to make some Korean friends. My hobbies are videogames, watching shows, reading and drawing. I love listening to music (like rock and kpop) I also do a little bit of crochet (I make amigurumi). I wanna practice writing and reading Hangul. I offer just talking in English or Dutch, talking about our day and stuff like that. I can also help with reading and writing. I'm a from the Netherlands, living in Germany (close to Roermond, Netherlands) for over 25 years. I speak Dutch, German and English. I try to learn French already for many years. We are visiting Boulogne sur Mer several times per year, so it would be great to meet friends over there to practice languages. Roermond is also a possibility to practice. Je suis néerlandais et je vis en Allemagne (près de Roermond, aux Pays-Bas) depuis plus de 25 ans. Je parle néerlandais, allemand et anglais. J'apprends le français depuis plusieurs années. Nous allons à Boulogne-sur-Mer plusieurs fois par an ; ce serait donc formidable de rencontrer des amis là-bas pour pratiquer les langues. Roermond est également une possibilité.

Hello, My name is Jimmy. I live in Sint-Niklaas, a city between Antwerp and Ghent in Belgium. I am also an IT expert and work in Brussels. I would like to improve my Spanish and French, both spoken and written. My native language is Dutch, but I can also express myself very well in English and French. I studied Spanish for two years in evening classes and now I am continuing to study at home at my own pace. So I already have a reasonably good foundation in Spanish. I can also express myself very well in French, although there is always room for improvement, of course! I am looking for different language partners such as for Spanish, French and German because I really love different languages, different cultures, and language exchanges. A Spanish ,French and/or Dutch language buddy would be of course very welcome! If possible, a language buddy who also lives in Belgium because I prefer face-to-face language exchange over language exchange via social media, whatsApp, or other media. In exchange, I can offer my knowledge of my native language Dutch, my knowledge of English which is the working language of my profession (IT-Computer Science) and which I have mastered to 80 percent and even my knowledge of French which I manage for 70 percent because I work in a bilingual environment (Dutch-French) in Brussels. I'm currently living in Taiwan, studying Chinese but I would like to work on improving my conversation skills. I can help you mainly French or English. If you want someone who can explain some grammar points, I can mainly do that in French as I have more in-depth knowledge of that for that language but I can speak English perfectly and notice and/or correct certain sentence patterns to help you sound a bit more natural. I'm looking for partner(s) to practice Mandarin Chinese, whether from China, Taiwan or any other place, I would be happy to hear about your opinions, your daily life and your culture. I generally try to set up fixed meetings each week so we both have a good idea of when and how we'll be practicing. I also enjoy texting in other languages, I think that also helps a lot to improve so I'm up for daily little chats as well!
