Hi, I have been trying to learn French for 6 months, but I don’t think I’m progressing as well as I would like.
I set realistic goals. I was aiming to be A2 level by 6months and A2/B1 within a year, but I have not made any improvement.
Instead of just using language apps I have been listing to French radio, reading simple French articles and watching French tv shows to boost my learning. I do a French activity everyday. Despite this, I am still at an A1 level :(
Either French is too difficult for me, or I need a different approach. I do not want to give up. Im hoping a native French speaker would help me with my language journey!

Moin! I'm Bennet, from Hamburg, Germany. I am a project manager in IT security, I like fashion and photography, I'm a former handball player, into German and international politics, a video game nerd and play pen and paper. I'm using 'Mandarin Blueprint' to learn Chinese and have learned pinyin and the correct pronunciation and just got started learning characters.
I'm looking for a person that can correct my tones and pronunciation, to get as close to standard mandarin as possible. I was always good in German classes and literature courses, so I believe I can teach you pretty much anything in German except punctuation (I suck at that). If you already know some advanced German I would describe myself as 'linksgrün versifft'. I work exclusively in english so my spoken English is great as well!

Hello!
I'm currently living in Belgium and I really want to improve my Portuguese. Being able to hold a conversation would be great.
Regarding Chinese I don't know anything yet but I'm interested to get a first interaction and see how that goes.
I love taking walks while talking about just anything in life, preferably in a green environment, but Brussels city also have a lot of very nice spots.
My native tongue is Dutch but I speak fluent French and English.
