I am the mother of a kid who is trying to learn mandarin by her own motivation. We are opening this account mainly for her benefit (i am learning korean (tho it is on teh back burner atm) and French)

We lived in the US for most of her childhood, and she is attending school in both English and German successfully. Due to corona she is looking for an online tandem partner. Please be advised that she is a hypersmart, driven Minor (we do not know where she gets it from) . She also has chosen the Erhu has her instrument of soul and is learning to play it.

She looks for interaction to improve and speedup her learning (she is as of yet a beginner) but She is very good at explaining things (all kinds of things really, psych to music to physics). I would be available for language questions in English and german too for more grown up vocabneeds.
