my name is Jen and I'm 71 or so my birth certificate tells me. I am a retired social work lecturer and live near to Durham in the north of England.
Before Covid I enjoyed travelling but obviously that is not as easy now.
I have been learning Spanish, off and on for seven years and enjoy studying. I am an avid reader, detective stories and thrillers usually .
Since retiring I have worked as a volunteer in the local hospice and am a foster carer for abandoned cats.
I am interested in practising my spanish and willing to help anyone learning english. Before becoming a social worker, I taught german in a comprehensive school.
