I've learned Korean on my own for a few year. But I'm still not very good at it and I believe I can't even pass TOPIK 1.
Regarding the reason why I want to learn Korean, it is because a K-drama called Misaeng. I just feel that one day i really should work/live in Korean if there's any chance.
