Hello: I have a Norwegian heritage. My father was the last child of 7 and the only one born in the USA. The rest were all born in Oslo Norway, My Norwegian grandmother lived with us for a while and we spoke a little Norwegian around the dinner table. Now I am a grandmother myself and am wanting to visit Norway before I die. I'd like to be able to speak the language better. I am studying on Duolingo, but need more conversation. I am hoping to find someone to converse with over the phone perhaps once a week. I could teach you American English (New England accent) and I would like to learn Norwegian from you. I understand some French and speak less of it. (I studied it for several years in my teens and twenties--but have forgotten most of it since I never used it. I'd like to improve that as well. I am looking forward to meeting you.
