Hi! I am learning Japanese to improve my speaking and comprehension, especially for anime, reading and understanding Japanese culture more deeply.
I would love to practice conversational Japanese, learn new expressions and focus on improving my reading skills.
I am happy to help you with your English in return.
I love plants, so I have a small indoor garden, anime, reading and going to the theatre. One day I hope to visit Japans beautiful gardens and forests.
I am open to both text chats, voice/video calls. Speaking practice will really help me build my confidence, as I am very shy. I am very happy to work on reading and grammar through text exchange as well.

I also have a CELTA qualification, and I am currently teaching English to Ukrainians on a voluntary basis. I am studying Mandarin (finishing HSK1); in the past I've studied French, Russian and Japanese, but I'm focused on Mandarin now. I live with my wife and our two dogs in North London; we have two grown children. I support Arsenal Football Club.
