Hi My name is Brian Waddington and I'm from Reading. I've lived here pretty much all my life. I lived in San Pedro Del Pinatar, Spain for 6 months and returned to Reading in late November 2017. I have very basic Spanish. I am continuing to learn Spanish as I intend to eventually live in Spain and because it's a beautiful language with many similarities to English. I'm 36 and I'm a trained sound engineer with a passion for the outdoors, culture (especially Spanish culture), and people. I will be taking Spanish classes and want to chat with a Spanish native (preferably Castilian Spanish but this is not essential) in relaxed atmosphere over Skype or in a cafe or bar to practice my conversational skills. At the same time I can help native Spanish speakers with their English. I am currently studying a TEFL course, and when I was in Spain I coached native Spanish speakers on their English conversational skills so I'm sure this can benefit our one to one sessions :-)

I know a little bit of Spanish. I really enjoy traveling and I feel it is so rude not to be able to speak the native language. I would love to go to Japan so it would be great to know a little bit to help me get around etc.
