My name is Cesar, my ethnicity is Filipino, but I was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada.
I travel to Japan annually, as I really enjoy the country, the culture, and all the people. With that being said, I speak as much Japanese as any tourist with a translation book, but I would like to read and speak Japanese more fluently. Being able to converse with the local residents in Japan would be a great accomplishment, as well help me with my own personal goals.
I try not to use Google Translate, as I feel it saps the fun out of being in a foreign country. If there are any Japanese residents, or anyone who speaks Japanese, who are willing to help me learn Japanese, GREAT! I am more than willing to help you learn English in return!

I'm 27 years old currently living in Winnipeg! I just started my PhD at University of Manitoba so I'll be here for while. In Tunisia, our second language is actually French but somehow I suck at it. I can understand most of it but need a little bit of practice in speaking. I also want to practice the everyday English of Winnipegers! So it would be ideal to have a language exchange partner who wants to practice both French and English. As for my hobbies, I'm into soccer and sports in general! Hi! My name is Nora. I live in canada! I'm currently a high school student. I speak native english and fluent french. The 3 languages I'm interested in learning are, Russian, Lithuanian, And Tagalog! I want to learn Russian and Lithuanian to connect to my culture, since my grandparents were from Lithuania and Russia. I've always wanted to learn Tagalog, But I find it difficult to learn. I can comfortably read hiragana and katakana. I am still in the process of learning kanji and vocabulary. I'm starting to learn grammar to form basic sentences.
I would eventually like to speak Japanese but I am in the very early stages of my journey!
In the meantime I am happy to make a new friend and chat in English and will try to communicate as best I can in Japanese (日本語)!
