I recently retired from teaching after 26 years and am enjoying my free time. I’m also working on my dual Italian citizenship and hope to move there in 2 years. My mother's family is from Italy and I've been able to visit. It is my dream to live in the homeland of my ancestors.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, eating in great resturants, exploring, meeting new people, and traveling.

La famiglia di mia madre è italiana e ho potuto visitare. È il mio sogno vivere nella patria dei miei antenati.

My name is Philip and I am a veterinarian in Austin, Texas. I have always been passionate about Spanish and can speak very comfortably. I love latin dance (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue) and culture in general. Spanish is a useful tool to use in my current workplace, as we have numerous hispanic clients, mainly from Mexico. I enjoy fitness, disc golf, ju jit su, boxing, latin dance, wine, whiskey, guitar, music and talking to people!

My name is Carmen and I have lived all my life in the USA, but my parents immigrated from Spain right before I was born and made sure we all kept close ties to our roots and mother tongue. As a result, I am fluent in Spanish & English.
However, use it or loose it is so true for language. I would love to practice my Spanish with native speakers...so that I can maintain my fluency. I am bilingual and would be happy to speak English with any Spanish speakers hoping to practice/improve their English.
