Hello I’m Carina! I’m was born in the USA but am now living in Austria. My mother was born here so I grew up speaking English and German. I am planning on visiting China in 2026 and wanted to challenge myself to learn the language before I go. I am still a beginner but I think it would help a lot to have someone to speak with and learn from and I can help with English and German in exchange. Hi everyone! I've been in Shenzhen since October, working as an Au Pair for a Chinese family. Because I've been taking language classes for a while, I can already speak some Mandarin, but unfortunately still have to rely on a translator a lot in my daily life.
