I am a Malaysian born in Northern Ireland and I currently live in Oxford. I love languages because I love different cultures and want to connect with people around the world. I am currently learning Arabic (elementary-intermediate) because I want to (re)discover the wonders of the Middle East. On the side, I would like to try Russian (beginner). I have just graduated from BA Chinese and would love to practice speaking Mandarin (post advanced) with any Chinese-native speakers. I hope to use both Mandarin and Arabic together for research and work in the forseeable future. I am looking forward to matching with any language partners out there! I can help, at any level, with your English (and Malay!), everyday-conversation, speaking presentations, essays, and help with British slangs.
Hi, I'm Al. I want to practice my basic Spanish. My accent is ok but my grammar is very bad as i learnt everything I know while living in Madrid 23 years ago. I live with my family in Sheffield, in the North of England (or South Scotland!). I work in sound as a radio sound engineer / designer. I like Balearic music, Mediterranean food, keeping fit, psychedelics, socialising, sitting by a tree on a hillside on a nice day trying to remain pragmatically optimistic. I like chatting about all these things as well as the state of the world politically and spiritually or just being daft. Wonderism not terrorism. ART WAR !
Hi, I'm Jon.
I spent 3 months travelling around Japan a couple of years ago. It's a beautiful country and I really want to go back once Covid19 has passed. I would love to know more Japanese so I can speak to more Japanese people.
I'd like to help anyone learning English as well!
I'm a graduate student who's looking to practise Japanese and maybe make some new friends.
I've studied abroad in Kyoto and in the future I will be heading back to Japan for fieldwork.
I'm a history graduate, but I'm also interested in politics, reading, videogames, TV Shows and anything of interest really.
I hope to make your acquaintance and help you improve in English as well.

Heya! I am a 18 year old, looking for people to chat to. I was born in Japan however, I moved to Scotland when I was around three and a half years old. As I was born in Japan, I used to speak fluent toddler Japanese but due to not using it very much, I have forgotten most of it (struggle to speak . As there is a rather high possibility that one day I may move back, I have decided to re-learn Japanese.
I am a University of Glasgow student studying Electronics and Software Engineering.

Hiya! This is Miranda and now I am a graduate student living in Edinburgh. I would be more than happy to practise oral English with a native English speaker. I'm also glad to help you study Chinese and chat about the culture with you. I had learnt French for two years before, but now I think I can only remember a limited number of words. I am available on most common social media. I love watching movies, especially Sci-fi and cannot live without music. I enjoy talking about almost everything. Please contact me if you like! 💕

My name Tatiana (diminutive - Tanya - is acceptable). I have lived in England (Cambridge) for 21 years. Currently I am retired from teaching all possible aspects of Russian culture: language, literature, visual/fine arts, history, general knowledge, etc. My aim of the language exchange - to become more fluent in speaking; also I would be glad to get some help with the translating. I like reading, translating; and in order to have some brake from that all, I like walking and riding on a bicycle :-)
Is anybody there?
