I am a former translator and a teaching assistant in Turku. Now I am studying a master programme in my native language, Russian.
My other languages: English (C2); Swedish, French (C1); Finnish (B2); German, Spanish (B1). I also understand some Norwegian, Danish and Ukrainian.
I would like to improve my languages, first of all Finnish, and also learn Italian.
My hobbies are languages, cultures, politics, environment and playing the piano.
I have translated about 10 Russian films and made over 100 song translations (I can send you the links).

I am studying logistics at the moment and I realised how bad my swedish is right now and how much I need to learn before I can manage conversations at work with colleagues and gustomers. I decided to give it a go to learn from many different sources. I can talk about simple things in swedish right (colours, numbers, weekdays etc.) now but I have taken some extra courses at school and am using duolingo aswell to improve.

Hello, I'm a Finnish university student who likes studying languages. I enjoy talking to people and teaching about all manners of things. I'm looking to primarily study Chinese and Japanese, and in exchange I can help you learn any of my spoken languages.
I have a day job designing electronics, but I like to spend my off time creating things, sometimes in an artistic sense and sometimes actually physically building fun little projects. I occasionally play video games, but with uni and work I have barely any time for that anymore. But I do have time for the weekly Mahjong Friday I hold with my friends. I used to do bouldering, but I had some complications with my back so I no longer do it.
When it comes to languages, I love both learning and teaching, so feel free to hit me up even if you don't speak any of the languages I'm actively seeking to learn.
