Hi all - I'm a US resident and native English speaker. I would like to find a steady partner to help me learn and practice German. I'm happy to help you learn the nuances of practicing English; grammar, conversation, vocabulary, etc. I'm relatively new to German but I'd love to take what I know and practice in conversation. I can put sentences together, although not always grammatically correct - which is where you come in:) I love to ice skate, ski, be outdoors, read, travel and catch a movie. Sometimes I switch audio to German and view the english subtitles to try to help learn, but it's hard learning without help.
I am a 23-year-old consultant and recent college graduate. I studied Mandarin in high school for 4 years in high school and briefly in college but would like to improve my skills. My Chinese is somewhat limited and I know around 1,500 characters but would like to improve my speaking/listening comprehension. I am happy to help anyone improve their English in exchange. I'm interested in business and enjoy sports, reading, and cooking.

My name is Amber Renee and I am an artist and designer living in the USA. I lived in Japan in college for a semester and fell in love. I've always been in love with Japanese pop culture and traditions so I just had to do a homestay with a Japanese family in 2006. It was one of my favorite memories. I've also traveled to Africa, Mexico, France, Nassau Island, Canada and all over the USA.
My hobbies are art, design, traveling, blogging, reading, writing, cooking, crafting; I love crafts. I especially love craft books from all over the world, mainly Japan. Do you like making things?
I love penpalling and sending packages to my penpals. I love swapping things like magazines, craft supplies, etc. I think it's so fun sending and receiving snail mail! Don't you? I love writing and receiving letters also -- it's great to make a new long-lasting friend.
I speak a bit of Japanese but only maybe elementary school level. I'm still learning and I don't know kanji well. It's so confusing to me!
I hope to hear back from you soon!
Please email me and let's exchange snail mail addresses!

I want to be friend with native English speakers that I can chat with in English about anything (if I don't know about that particular topic, I'm willing to learn about it), just to help me improve in writing and speaking English. I want to learn more about how to interact with people and the most natural ways to talk with my friends in English.
If you want to learn Vietnamese or practice chat/talk in Vietnamese, we can also exchange language too.
