Hi, I’m Ciara and I’m a teacher. I’ve been studying Korean longer than Cantonese and quite frankly I’m struggling with both! I do find Japanese a little bit easier but I’m limited to speaking and listening. I would like to teach abroad or at the very least travel for a while.
I love to watch movies, listen to music and read books. I’m quite talkative and I love learning about new things whether it be a specific band, recipe or TV show.
I’m looking for someone who wouldn’t mind helping a complete beginner out and in turn I can help with English and French 😊
I am single man about 25 years old. I am from Czech Republic. I learn English and Japanese. I am IT Developer and musician. My hobbies is watching Japanese anime and other things about this. I call myself an otaku.
It's complicated- a bit! The kind of complicated when you are born in a country, lived in 2 others and settled/lived the longest in a fourth one while hailing from a fifth! Love languages and all that comes with it (such as ordering local food in the local language) and travelling. I love exercising and keeping fit.
I'm a professional working full time but spend my free time -since my city (Edinburgh) is amazing- on walks and exploring in-and-out-of-city attractions as well as the amazing highlands and everything in between.
I did learn languages for different reasons but have to say never because of personal connections. Would love to see how I can start practicing more real life situations and less text-books and apps.
Hi, my name is Addison.
I'm still a student, I speak cantonese and english fluently and I want to learn/practice my mandarin, korean and french.
I like reading a lot and listening to music. I also like to play badminton.
Hello! I'm an American living in the UK. I grew up speaking Mandarin because both of my parents are Chinese. However, I'm losing the language rapidly and I would like to practice with someone else and build my vocabulary.
I speak native English with an American accent and I'm very talkative, so I would love to help someone practice!
Hi, 你好！I'm Frannie from China. I am currently a graduate student in the UK.
Why I am here:
I've found that my oral English is not as good as I thought it would be. I cannot express my thoughts and feelings as fluently in colloquial language as I can do in written language. I'd say I love English but I hate mysself for couldn't say it well. I'm expecting someone who's an English native speaker, then we could exchange our languages.
I also study French. Salut! I am still a beginner so I only know basic words and expressions. Also learnig Japanese by myself. Love music, standup comedy, anime, and photography.
Hi, my name is Alexander. I'm a Psychology Undergraduate currently living in Edinburgh.
Looking for a potential language partner. I'm a native English speaker. Currently trying to learn Japanese through Plimsleur, I did learn some Chinese for a while but I'm a bit rusty in that department, however, I can maybe still pick it up! I'm a pretty patient teacher/learner also, but I'll let you be the judge of that =)
I'm looking for a language partner to practice my Chinese ;)
I would like to improve my speaking skills xxx
Additionally I'd love to improve my English (I'm an English teacher hahahh) but wish to learn colloquialism and idiomatic expressions!
My name is Aiden. I'm 21 years old and I live in Edinburgh, in the United Kingdom.
I am looking for a language exchange partner to study Danish and Dutch.
I'd be happy to help you to learn English and English in exchange.
I'm an undergraduate student in the University of Edinburgh. I want to improve my oral English and English writing. I'm a native Mandarin speaker and happy to exchange language with you! Feel free to send me message~
