Hello, my name is Tristan.
I lived in Fukuoka, Japan from April 2014 until January 2021. I would like to find Japanese people to converse with in English and Japanese.
I am a little bit rusty because I haven't used Japanese much in a year. However I passed the N1 exam and graduated from uni in Japan and spoke it at a high level every day while I was there.

I am an international student from China, and I came to Canada three years ago to study Computer Science. My native language is Mandarin Chinese, and I can also understand Cantonese and hold basic conversations in it. I am fluent in reading and writing both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, considering both as my first languages. Furthermore, English is my second language—or third, if you consider Cantonese as a separate language from Mandarin—and it is the primary language I use for studying and working currently. I have previously done a bit of self-study in Korean and Japanese online, and I have a strong interest in learning both of these languages. I am very willing and happy to communicate and practice languages with international friends who are interested in language exchange and cultural sharing.
