I am a language freak, I am learning German and Japanese, I rely on books to learn both, in German I can say that I have intermediate knowledge as I started in 2005, currently I buy novels in German and read them using a dictionary, it takes me about 2 years to finish a novel, the problem is that the words get forgotten easily, as for Japanese, I have a big challenge when it comes to the alphabets, the challenge gets bigger when it comes to Kanji, that's why I only want to learn to speak, but won't be able to read and write, maybe only Hiragana and Katakana.
I am Arabic by birth and I would be pleased to share arabic culture with people, talk to them about the changes that occurred in Dubai in such a short time, there is a useful Android App that I would recommend everyone to use if they want to learn language fast.
As for English, I know I am not a native English speaker, but being in Dubai and being at a private school, I can speak like the natives.
